Hosting Upgrade
Today a number of our customers reported website problems, after our hosting server was upgraded. This post aims to explain the reasons why our customers are experiencing these issues.
During the last week of November 2008, I noticed that almost all of our hosted websites where nearing there allocated bandwidth. Our server bandwidth is split up between customers, but as the number of hosted sites has grown, we had reached the limits of our current server.
To prevent all of our sites passing there bandwidth limits and being unavailable, in the early hours of Monday morning all of our website where migrated to a new server.
Unfortunately there was no time to notify customers before the upgrade was carried out. I apologise for any inconvince caused, but we are working to rectify all reported issues.
