Goodbye Windows 2000
On 13th July 2010, Microsoft will no longer provide support for Windows 2000.
From today we will no longer testing or supporting our software with Windows 2000. We recommend all customers using Windows 2000 upgrade to Windows XP or later.
Our software currently supports Windows XP and Windows Vista. Some customers are using Windows 7, but we recommend Vista until full testing has been completed.

Repeat Colour
Repeat in colour is one of the most used features of the Styles File module, allowing a product with multiplue colours to be created quickly. One enhancement, requested by a several customers, was the ability to repeat a style in any number of colours at once.
When the next update of Fashione is released, you will be able to repeat any style in a selection of colours in one go.

Combined Reports
Fashione has many reports, which display the same information grouped in different ways. This is great for customers, but a headache to maintain.
I have now combined the Root PLU Item Stock By Department, Root PLU Item Stock By Supplier and Root PLU Item Stock By Season into one report, with additional groupings.
Combining reports not only reduces the install footprint, it make maintaince easier. Giving us more time to spend on other features.
In the future, I’ll combine other reports, where possible.

Blueberries Upgrade
On Monday we upgraded Blueberries to the multiplue branch edition of Fashione. Not only have they got all the latest features, they are the first customer to use Quick Login on the point of sale.
Each staff member can now login to the point of sale using a barcoded card, instead of username and password, which reduces the overall transaction time.
